What is Laser Eyebrow Removal?
Laser Tattoo Removal is an advanced way of removing an unwanted Tattoo. We can safely remove unwanted ink using our grade 4 medical laser.
Our ND YAG Q Switched Laser has proven to be a reliable, safe, and effective laser Tattoo Removal method. The laser targets the treatment area only and causes a photo-acoustic shock, which results in the ink shattering into tiny fragments. The ink fragments are then filtered out of the body by the urinary and lymphatic system.
This method is suitable for all skin types and tattoos due to advanced technology. However, some Tattoo’s will require more sessions to get the desired results. For example, black is far easier to remove than lighter colours.
Before the treatment, you will receive a full consultation to know precisely what the Laser Tattoo Removal treatment involves and how many sessions you need.
What happens during a consultation?
During the consultation, our technician will discuss what you want to achieve from the treatment and what area(s) you wish to be treated.
The technician will then assess your skin type using the Fitzpatrick scale and perform a patch test.
You will also be given a detailed explanation of how the treatment works, what to expect, and advice for your aftercare.
Any questions you may have will also be answered. So, by the end of the consultation, you will have all the information you require and will be excited for your treatment to start.
What equipment do you use?
We only use Premium Grade Aesthetics devices at Permanent Perfection Aesthetics.
Our Laser machines are grade 4 medical lasers manufactured by the internationally renowned company All White Laser, or The King of Lasers.
All our technicians are certified directly by All White Laser (AW3), and our machines are serviced and maintained per the manufacturer’s strict guidelines. So, we ensure that our staff and laser machines deliver the best results for you.
What results can I expect?
The great news is that you will see beneficial results after the first treatment.
Permanent Tattoo Removal can be achieved using the AW3 Flash Ink system. However, please note that some colours will require more treatments to get the desired result.
It can take up to 10 sessions altogether for a client to reach the desired outcome.
Factors that influence this include size, ink colour, the Tattoo’s age and its position on the body.
.
Does the treatment hurt?
As everyone’s pain threshold is different, the answer to this is the amount of pain experienced will depend upon the person and, of course, the area being treated.
The sensation is described as an elastic band snapping against the skin. Furthermore, the sensation at it’s worst should be no more painful than having the Tattoo done in the first place.
At Permanent Perfection, we are fully certified AW3 Laser Tattoo Removal Technicians, and client comfort and care are of the utmost importance to us. We can manipulate the machine to get the right balance of treatment efficacy whilst making Laser Tattoo Removal as comfortable as possible
How often are sessions?
Sessions need to be spread out for a minimum of 6 weeks.
This ensures appropriate healing time between sessions and gives the body enough time to filter out the tiny ink particles shattered in the previous session.
How do I prepare for the treatments?
Avoid sunbeds or sun exposure for a minimum of 30 days prior to treatment.
What about aftercare?
During and after your treatment, frosting of the skin and or pinpoint bleeding may occur in the area.
This is normal and will subside within 20 minutes.
Please follow the following advice after Laser Tattoo Removal treatment
- Please use 100% Aloe Vera Gel on the treated area directly after treatment and for the next few days
- Apply SPF 30+ when outside for the next 4 weeks
- Avoid excessive sun / UV exposure
I have a busy lifestyle. How will the treatments fit into it?
We offer weekend and evening appointments at 2 clinic locations in the Northwest and will be able to plan in sessions for you. So, you can factor in things like gym sessions around your treatment and aftercare schedule.
